HOUGHTON CONQUEST

House. Late C18 or early C19, probably encasing an earlier structure. Red
brick, mostly in English bond. Clay tile roof. 3-room plan, 2 storeys. 3 3-
light casement windows to each floor, ground floor ones with cambered heads.
Brick dentil cornice to eaves. Off-centre doorway with cambered head and C20
door. To L of this is another blocked doorway. Red brick multiple ridge
stack serving 2 RH rooms.
