gate at the Grange

GV II

Garden wall and entrance gate belonging to the Grange. C17 and C18, repaired
C20. Red brick. Wall borders Grange Street for approximately 60 metres,
turning Westwards at N end for approximately 15 metres. About 1.5 metres
high. Gateway to Grange Street stands approximately 3 metres high. Round-
headed archway flanked by pilasters and surmounted by moulded cornice. C20
timber doors. Walls have C20 brick capping and additional gateway inserted to
N.
