House. c.1600. Timber framed with exposed frame and half hipped pegtile roof.
Large stack in baffle entry position, off-centre on ridge line. Later
extensions at south west end and on north flank. Windows are C19 casements each
with single horizontal glazing bars. A close studded unjettied house of 3
bays plus stack bay, with straight low-mounted internal wall bracing and jowled
posts. Halved and bladed scarf joints and part of original floors raised to
improve head room. Part rebuilt C17 inglenook stack.
