Ice house to Elemore Hall (q.v.). Adapted as air raid shelter in World War II.
Probably C18. Brick with ashlar and concrete dressings; earth mound. Circa
3-metre diameter round structure; entrance passage demolished. Broken ashlar
lintel and brick jambs to doorway of which upper part is blocked with concrete
slab. Brick domed roof visible above lintel where earth is eroded. Interior
shows drop of c.2 metres to level of fill; brick dome.
