Large detached House. Early C18. Grey ashlar stone walls, with rusticated quoins.
Projecting central bay with rusticated quoins. Central pediment with a wooden
modillion cornice. Side walls, at left rubble-stone, at right ashlar. Hipped
slate roofs. Brick stack on left rear hip, brick and rusticated stone stack at
right hand ridge. 2 storeys with cellars and attics. 3 windows, sashes with
thick glazing-bars, moulded stone architraves, projecting dropped keystones,
stone cills each with 2 consoles. Front doorway at centre with round-headed
architrave, with projecting imposts and keystone. Outer framing of plain pilaster
strips with shallow volutes supporting a moulded cornice. Door, flush-panelled at
bottom with 6 glass panels over. Semi-circular fanlight with glazing-bars, C18.
North side wall has 3-light stone mullions, with hollow chamfers. Rounded labels
over the ground floor. 3-light wooden casements over with horizontal glazing-bars.
Doorway with projecting stone key at centre. Stone sleeper wall to front garden,
with a pair of low rusticated gate-piers with imposts and pyramidal caps. Iron
railings on sleeper wall, with an iron gate at centre with spear-finials and urn-
finials at the intersections.
