Pair of cottages, possibly originally one house. Late C17 origin. Walls of
flint and brick, - front wall roughcast. Hipped thatched roofs. One brick
stack in centre and one near left end. One storey and attic. No.1 has ledged
door in corrugated iron porch. Ground floor has one casement window with
horizontal glazing bars. Attic has one dormer with similar casement. No. 2 has
ledged door in timber porch. Ground floor has 3 casement windows with horizontal
glazing bars. Attic has 3 dormers with similar casements. In left gable wall,
one window with lead lights. RCHM Monument 14. (Dorset. Vol.III).
