Shippon. Probably early C19. Stone rubble with a bitumen-painted slate roof, gabled
at ends.
Plan: Long rectangular plan. Sited north-west of Grilstone and dividing the garden
to the rear of the house from the farmyard.
Exterior: Lofted. 4 ground floor doorways, all with neat cut stone arches, the left
hand doorway wider with paired doors. C19 window, also with a cut stone arch,
between the 2 right hand doors; 2 loft doors.
Interior: Not inspected.
Forms part of an irregular and attractive group of farmbuildings north-west of
Grilstone.
