side of road to Hammonds Farmhouse
GV II
Shippon and stable range. Early to mid C19. Whitewashed stone rubble. Corrugated
roofs with gable ends.
L-shaped range with shippon to left side with loft over and lofted stable with
slightly higher roof level to right side.
Shippon has 2 plank doors with window opening to right and ventilation slit to left.
Loft door over. Row of pigeon holes over window to right. Returned end has loft
door over plank door with stables with symmetrical arrangement of loft door over
plank door flanked by window openings extending to right.
Interior fittings including stalls and feeding racks intact.
