House, 1774 with later additions. Coursed rubble, pebble-dashed. Graduated
slate roof with brick end chimneys, that to the right corbelled out.
Symmetrical 2-storey 3-bay front. Central porch has segmental canopy carried on
pilasters with vertically-split panelled door; single 3-light stone mullioned
window to either side. 1st floor has single 2-light window to either side of
reset, dated, rainwater head. Wing to rear at north end has a sink set in the
wall to the left of a plank door in such a way that it can be used both
internally and externally. C20 casement to left of plank fuel store door with
single 2-light window and 2 sashes to 1st floor. Wing terminates in small byre
and hay loft of coursed, squared rubble with quoins under a graduated slate
roof. End wall has two C20 double doors with loft access over; above dovecote
openings in gable is a date panel (1879).
