Blaithwaite House

G.V. II

Gazebo. Early or mid C19. Hammer-dressed red sandstone. Welsh slate roof with
coped gables and finials. Octagonal single-storey gazebo on a small island in a
garden pond, reached by a wooden bridge. Panelled door (dated 1929) in
pilastered surround under ogee arch. Leaded-pane windows on each face in stone
surrounds under ogee arches. Each face is gabled. Listed partly for G.V. with
Blaithwaite House.
