Photo taken of Meledor in 2008 by great-great-granddaughter of James Hawkey Elvins, who grew up in Meledor with his mother, Ann Arthur (formerly Elvins) and family from her second marriage to John Arthur. James Hawkey Elvins emigrated with his wife and nine children to Victoria, Australia, in 1862.
