Watermill, probably C18. Granite moorstone rubble walls with some dressed moorstone.
Grouted scantle slate roof at rear, replaced with corrugated asbestos at the front.
Gable ends.
Plan: Fairly small rectangular plan, built into the bank carrying the leat at the
rear. Circa late C19 overshot wheel at the right-hand end. No internal machinery.
Exterior: Low 2-storeys. Irregular 2 window south-west front with very small window
openings. Doorway slightly left of middle with window on its left. Window in left-
hand gable end is reused millstone fragment. Right-hand end has small window over
the wheel flanked by 2 smaller openings. Wheel has cast-iron hub and segments, oak
spokes.
Interior: Simple interior has C19 roof structure, sockets for former floor structure
at the right hand end and other niche. The machinery has been taken out.
