Milestone. Probably circa 1864. Painted dressed granite monolith. Triangular
-on-plan shaft over a rectangular-on-plan base. 2 rectangular sides of the
shaft face the road obliquely and rise from large pyramidal stops. Each of
these sides has incised lettering and Arabic numerals. Pyramidal head.
Left-hand side inscription : PENZANCE 4, LANDS END 14.
Right-hand side inscprition : HELSTON 9, FALMOUTH 21.
