The interior of the beautiful Norman church on the cliff top at Tintagel. Simon Jenkins, who considers this to be one of England's Thousand Best Churches, writes: "The church is Norman not just in origin but in atmosphere. The doorways are round-arched and the windows designed more to keep out the elements than to let in the light."
