9/121 Tretoil Farmhouse

Farmhouse, now house. Early C19 with some later alterations. Granite rubble ;
dressed sandstone front. Hipped slate roof with stacks to sides with brick shafts.
Plan: Double depth plan, with central entrance and principal room to front right and
left ; shallow service rooms to rear, with rear central stair. The house is of 2
storeys on basement, which contains service rooms ; single storey shed attached to
rear left.
Exterior: 2 storeys on plinth, a symmetrical 3-window front, in dressed sandstone
with granite quoins. All windows are 4-pane sashes with brick segmental arches.
Central panelled door with hipped hood on granite Doric columns. Right side has 2-
light casement at basement level. The rear has 16-pane sash to right and left at
first floor and central 12-pane sash lighting the stair. At ground floor, a 16-pane
sash to left and 4-pane sash to right, with panelled door set off-centre to right,
approached by an external granite stair. Collar door to left, and single storey shed
attached to right.
Interior: Not accessible ; retains internal window shutters and may have other early
C19 features.
