Small house. Probably late C17. Rendered and painted stone rubble. Corrugated
asbestos roof with gable ends. Large projecting stone rubble end stack on left.
Plan: Two room and cross passage plan with larger hall kitchen on left, heated by
end stack and small unheated room on right. Small C20 service extension on right.
Exterior: Two storeys. Asymmetrical 2-window front. Entrance to left of centre
with small C20 porch flanked by C20 window to left and small C19 or C20 window to
right. Two C19 or C20 casements on first floor.
Interior: The large, wany floor joists above hall-kitchen are chamfered and some are
stopped with run-out stops. The chamfered timber lintel above the fireplace
indicates that the fireplace has been narrowed slightly. The floor joists above the
right hand room have been replaced in the C20.
