House. Early C19. Timber framed and brick, plastered and roughcast, roofed
with slate. Rectangular plan facing S, at right-angles to road, with one stack
in left wall and internal stack to rear of middle. Later C19 wing to right,
extending forwards, with 2 internal stacks at right side. Later C19 porch in
front angle. C2O lean-to conservatory to left. 2 storeys. Ground floor, one
sash of 16 lights and one of 12 lights. First floor, sashes of 16, 12 and 12
lights respectively. 6-panel door with top panels glazed, in doorcase with
fluted pilasters and shallow canopy, at front of flat-roofed porch. Both roofs
are of shallow pitch, hipped, with long overhanging eaves. Chimney shafts in
original building of gault brick, in extension of red brick. Gothic Revival
window with 2-centred arch in left side of porch. The rear elevation has a
2-window range of sashes of 16 lights. The right elevation (to South Street)
has on the ground floor one C20 casement and one sash of 12 lights, on the first
floor 2 similar sashes. Early C19 straight stair with stick balusters.
