Chest tomb. Circa 1814. Granite. The chest is made of large granite slabs and has
a cavetto moulded plinth and lid. Inset into the top of the lid there is a slate
plate inscribed in upper and lower case with serifs and italics. In memory of James
Mayn, who died in 1814 and his wife Mary who died in 1795 and other members of their
family.
