Cottage, circa C18 and earlier. Rubble stone with whitewashed rubble and cob upper
walls. Combed wheatreed thatch roof with gabled ends and hipped ends. Rendered
brick chimneys in gabled ends. Single depth, 2-cell with cross passage and
projecting wing to east to form L-shape with small projection to rear on west. 2
storeys, asymmetrical. Entrance at junction of south and east wings. Partly glazed
C20 door with slate hood over. To left, 9 long sash windows with 6 panes over 12
panes with 16-pane sash to right both with horns. First floor with 2-light
casement 2 panes per light on south wing and 16-pane sash without horns on east
wing. Interior not inspected.
