SW 7525 MANACCAN I

7/54 Barn at approx 20m south of Kestle
- Barton Farmhouse and Kestle Cottage

GV II

Barn and cart shed. Circa late C18 extended C19. Partly painted rubble walls with
wooden lintels. Hipped corrugated iron roof, formerly scantle slate.
Rectangular plan: fodder or grain storage loft over shippon or stables/loose boxes,
later single storey cartshed/coach house at right.
2 storeys. Nearly regular north front with 2 similar groupings of doorway left,
window right with loading doorway over, plus slit ventilator, right, plus wide
doorway and narrower doorway of coach house and stable, far right. Old ledged doors,
some with ventilation slits.
Interior not inspected.
