House in row. Circa late C18/early C19. Shale rubble walls, dressed granite steps,
sills, archstones and mid floor band. Asbestos slate roof with large brick chimneys
over gable ends.
Double depth plan with reception room on either side of nearly central passage
leading to central stair between rear service rooms.
2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 3-window south west road front. Flat arches with
projecting keystones. Doorway central to fenestration but off-centre to right.
Panelled door with top panels later glazed. C20 porch. Further doorway at lower
level on far left with ledged door, probably for rear access passage when there used
to be further house adjoining on left. Windows are circa late C19/early C20 horned
sashes except for ground floor right which has deepened opening and French windows.
Interior not inspected.
