SW 83 NW FEOCK TRELISSICK

4/24 Barn at approx 85m north west of
Trelissick House

GV II

Barn. Circa mid-C19 remodelled as offices by the National Trust. Slatestone rubble
with brick arches. Ripped dry Delabole slate roof. C20 axial chimney. Rectangular
plan. 2 storeys. Irregular 5-window east front overlooking courtyard. All openings
have shallow arches over. Windows are C20 casements. Doors are C20 ledged and
braced. 1-window blocked; at least 2 others are C20 insertions and 2 are in
positions of former doorways. To far left is external flight of granite steps with
wrought iron handrail, C20 in early C19 style.
