Mill house for Trethake Water Mill (q.v.). Probably late C18, remodelled in circa
1840's. Restored 1983/4. Rubble stone partly rendered on left-hand gable end.
Slate roof with brick stacks in the gable ends. Brick segmental arches to all
openings on the front elevation.
Originally single depth plan with 2 rooms and passage. Extended to rear with
outshut. 2 storeys, symmetrical 3 window front with central 6 panelled door. Left-
hand window tripartite replacement sash with glazing bars. Right-hand window 16-
pane sash without horns. Three 16-pane replacement sashes on first floor. Single
storey. Outbuilding attached on left-hand gable end, rubble stone with slate roof.
Large fireplace in rear on left-hand gable end. Cloam oven marked "Bideford"
partly blocked.
