Watermill. Erected c.1810 (on site of earlier mill). Chevron
dressed sandstone; Welsh slate roof; hipped to L.H.S. (W.) ; stone
ridge/gable copings, brick stack against E. gable. 4 storeys
Aqueduct passes through front elevation (ground floor) to deliver
water to pitch-back wheel. Round-headed doorway to R.H.S. Openings
are asymmetrical on ground and first floors, symmetrical (4 bays) on
2nd and 3rd containing vertically louvred vents, doors and Yorkshire
sashes. Similar arrangement on rear elevation.
Interior : all machinery and water wheel have been repaired and
restored (since 1975) to working order.
