Pair of cottages, now shops. Early C19. Dressed sandstone with
tooled margins; late C20 concrete tiles to No. 52; clay pantiles
with stone ridge and gable copings, to No. 54. Brick stack to
R.H.S. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Mid C20 shop fronts to ground floor.
Sash windows with glazing bars and painted stone sills to first
floor. Late C19 timber attic dormer with barge boards to No.
54. Extensions to rear (N. side) are not of interest.
