GV II

Pigeon loft, now house. Early C18 with later additions and
alterations. Red Flemish bond brick with stone slate roof. Three
storeys, square in plan. Entrance front: Projecting plinth,
chamfered quoins to corners of rubbed brick. Band between ground and
first floors. Central door with chamfered quoins to surround and flat
arched head of gauged brick. Band breaks forward slightly over door.
C20 single-light window to left. First floor central window of 5 x 4
sash panes (probably originally having three casement lights) in
moulded surround with ovolo-moulded sides and chamfered quoins to
sides. Two-light casement to second floor. C20 single storey
additions at right and left. Right hand reveal: C20 sun-porch to
ground floor and single light window to left. C20 plate glass window
to first floor right and C19 2-light casement window to second floor
centre. Rear: Central C19 four-paned sash window. Two 2-light
casement windows to first floor. Blocked mezzanine window to centre
rising through first and second floors and 2-light second floor window
at right.
