2 cottages, probably early C19 late Georgian, re-dressed for Rowland Egerton
Warburton later C19. Pebbledash, probably on brick; brick plinth;
graded grey slate roof. 2 storeys; 3 windows to each storey in all.
From right to left the lower storey has iron casement of 3 lights,
formerly leaded; deeply recessed boarded door with ornate hinges and
latch of Arley estate type; inserted canted 1-storey bay window with
five lights of 8 small panes; door of 4 vertical panels; casement with
leaded fixed light to each side of a 2-pane iron opening light. 2nd
storey has 3 leaded casements, with leads removed front that to right.
2 ridge chimneys, one chimney behind ridge near left end, flush
chimney on left gable. Brickwork exposed at back, which has replaced
windows.
Interiors not inspected.
