Formerly mill owner's house now 2 houses: c.1830 for Shallcross and
Sheldon Ltd. Coursed, squared, buff, sandstone rubble. Kerridge
stone-slate roof, stone ridge and 3 stone chimneys. 2-storey, 6-bay
front. Windows in right end bay and 2 central bays have 16 fixed
panes and a top opening casement, under rough stone lintels. Left end
bay has 6-pane horned sashes. Door to right has simple architrave
with rectangular fanlight. Door to left under rough stone lintel.
