SJ 55 NE BUNBURY C.P. TILSTON BANK

2/26 Tilstonebank Cottage

Formerly 3 cottages, now one dwelling. Early C17. Plastered brick
nogged timber frame with tile roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays with modern
added wing (north). Small framing with small angle braces to east
gable. Ledged and battened door on replaced strap hinges. Replaced
mullion windows with casements, those at first floor under added
gabled dormers with timbered apexes and finials. Gable and near
centre stacks.
Interior: Modernised but bevelled beams and exposed ceiling joist
remain.
