Cottage, early C17 with mid C19 and late C20 additions and
alterations. Brick nogged timber fame and brickwork with tile roof.
Single storey and attic, 2 bays with brick addition (south) and rear
wing (east) forming a "T" shaped plan. Sandstone plinth. Small
framing with tension and angle braces. All gables are in brick.
Modern front door. Cast iron lattice casements, in the Tollemache
Estate tradition, those at first floor level in gabled dormers. Large
central four flue stack.
Interior: Exposed ceiling joists - no visible beams.
