Cottage, early C17, now substantially enlarged. Brick nogged timber
frame with slate roof. 2 storeys, 4 window bays including added bay
(west). There are also extensive modern additions at the rear (north)
of the added bay. Small framing with passing braces to ground sill
and angle braces to wallplate. Replacement oak door divided into
vertical panels. Two small hexagonal bays and replaced mullion
windows, all with leaded glazing, at ground floor. Two first floor
windows in facade gables and two in half dormers, all with barge
boards and finials.
Interior: Ovolo moulded beams, exposed joists. Timbers exposed in
internal walls.
