SJ 46 SW HUNTINGTON C P MEADOW LANE

5/47 Meadowhouse Farmhouse.

GV II

Farmhouse: early C18 with C20 additions. English bond orange brick,
Welsh slate roof and central ridge brick chimney, T-shaped plan.
2-storey (and blind attic), symmetrical 3-bay north front. Raised
bond at 1st and 2nd floor. End bays have replaced 3-light wooden
casements under segmental brick heads. Similar head to a 4-panelled
door, approached by 3 steps and behind a lean-to hood. Blocked window
above. Banding continues around the remaining portion where there is
an added porch and garage.
Interior: Plan with cross passage between major portions, containing
a turned column oak dogleg staircase with square newels. Some 4-board
doors and heavy ceiling beams.
