Farmhouse including cottage wing to west. Probably later C18th (or
possibly early C18th remodelled c1850). Rendered brick, slate roof,
stone plinth and dressings. 3 storeys with 2-storey cottage wing. L
shaped plan. House has 2 windows, widely spaced, with sashes,
replacing Victorian type. Central moulded doorcase has cornice hood
on elongated consoles. Door of 6 panels, 1st and 2nd floor plain
stone bands. 2-storey cottage wing set back has one blocked window.
Interior. Iron radial-bar fanlight over inner double doors. Chamfered
hardwood ceiling beams. Georgian corner cupboard, moulded architraves
fielded panel doors. Stair has square balusters, turned or
octagonal newels. Top floor door has wrought iron H-hinges and Suffolk
latch.
