Canal lock and spillway, 1795, Thomas Telford supervising engineer,
altered. Brick basin with dressed sandstone copings, with concave
upper end. Single upper gate and double lower gates, both replaced in
steel. Stone-coped spillway. Other part of lock in Wirshall Parish.
