Cottage late C17 with alterations and additions. Red brick with tile
roof 1 storey 2 bays. Exposed cruck blades in both gables indicate
that roof has been raised considerably. Some masonry shows in west
gable. Modern casement windows, gable end stacks.
Interior: Cross wall contains cruck truss, former attic now sealed
off. Said to have been originally called "Haula Hall".
