Mid C17 cottage of three bays and lobby entry plan. Timber
framed, plaster rendered on limestone plinth. Thatched, half-
hipped roof with large, rebuilt ridge stack. Two storeys.
Three horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars and three
similar windows at ground floor. Entry opposite stack with
early C19 six panelled door. Interior. Some framing visible.
Long straight bracing from posts to sill. Edge halved and
bridle butted scarf joints in front and rear wallplates with
original floor joists supported on clamp pegged to front and
rear walls. Original roof of side purlin construction with
ridge piece at apex.
