Public house. C17, remodelled late C19. Rendered studwork or
brick front with tall parapet concealing steep asbestos roof
plus 2 parallel hipped roofs at right angles to rear; brick
end stacks; truncated rubble lateral stack. Single-depth plan
extended later at rear.
3 storeys; 4-window range. Mostly late C19 horned sashes;
doorways at left and right with panelled doors. Early C19
16-pane hornless sash at rear.
INTERIOR: of front bar area has 3 visible C17 moulded cross
beams.
