Cottage orne. c.1840. Timber framed, rendered and steeply pitched tiled
roof with grey brick ridge stack of two flues linked at capping. End to
road. One storey and attic. West elevation has two gable dormers with
horizontal sliding sashes in pointed arches. Two similar windows on either
side of contemporary gabled porch with chamfered four centred outer archway.
Gable end to road has chamfered mullion and surround to first floor window,
now blocked and to a ground floor casement. Inside: exposed framing,
straight bracing, abuttiny hearths and light ceiling framing. Probably built
by Bendyshe family.
