Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse. Early C17 with mid C18 and later additions. Timber-framed and
plastered. Plain tiled roof hipped to east with a dormer window, and half
hipped to west. Ridge stack with three diagonal shafts rebuilt in gault
brick. Two storeys and attic with rear outshut. Three unit, lobby entry
plan. Two ground floor twenty-four-paned flush-framed hung sash windows and
one to right hand of entrance with twenty-panes. Three first floor horizontal
sliding sash windows. Small oval window beside doorway with panelled door.
Interior: Four timber-framed bays, chamfered and stop-chamfered ceiling beams
intersecting in room to west. Projecting rear staircase. Windbraced side
purlin roof.
