Farmhouse now two cottages. Late C17 with C18 and C19 additions and
alterations. Timber-framed and plastered with an original plastered panel
lozenge-shaped with flower bosses enclosing a thistle with crown head and
dated 1675; late C18 plastered panels in passage way and rear extension;
some red brick and weather boarding. Thatched roof to left hand and low
pitched slated roof to right hand. Tall red brick ridge stack. Two
storeys; original three unit plan extended to right and left hand, and
later partly reroofed; single storey rear extension. Two entrances with
panelled and boarded doors to right and left hand, two twelve-paned
flush-framed windows and one casement window, three first floor horizontal
sliding sash windows.
