Cottage, now two dwellings. Mid C17 and mid C20 restoration and extensions.
Timber-framed, rendered and steeply pitched tiled roof with red brick ridge
stack having upper courses rebuilt in grey brick. End stack added C19. Four
bays including the fire bay and probable lobby entry. Two storeys. West
elevation has mid C20 horizontal sliding sashes at first floor and larger
windows, also mid C20, at ground floor. Inside: there are abutting inglenook
hearths with stop chamfered lintels. Framing exposed with downward bracing
at first floor. Floor joists replaced in one end bay. Through-purlin roof.
