13/79 The Cottage

GV II


Cottage. Late C17, or early C18 with some re-used material.
Timber framed and plastered, thatched roof half hipped to right
hand. One storey and attic, three unit plan. Boarded door to
main entrance with three ground floor two-light horizontal
sliding sash windows. Interior C16 re-used axial ceiling beam
with double ogee moulding, inglenook hearth with C19 baking oven
removed, and hearth added to west room.
