Terrace house built c.1797, part of the planned circus of the
Castle Estate designed and built by Joseph Medworth (b.1752,
d.1827). Local brown brick with slate roof, and side stack.
Three storeys and basement; three 'bays'. Stone coping to
parapet, stone cill band. Windows all twelve-paned recessed
hung sashes. Wooden doorcase to right hand with fluted
pilasters and broken pediment. Six-panelled door and plain
round-headed fanlight. Recently renovated and altered.
