Corner shop and two houses, c,1830, similar in detail to others in Market Place. Gault brick, hipped slate roof, ridge stack. Two storeys and basements. Shallow parapet with stone copings. River facade has four, first floor, twelve-paned hung sash windows in cambered gauged brick arches and one blind window. Two similar ground floor windows, and half-glazed modern house door. Two original shop windows of two large lights with slender columns flank the rounded corner of the shop entrance. Double shop doors and hung sash window above, curved to corner. Facade facing Chapel Road has three first floor twelve-parted hung sash windows and one blind window, with open ground floor window and doorway to right hand.
