House. C16 altered C18, timber framed refronted in red brick, hipped
tiled roof (rebuilt 1981) with 3 hipped dormers, 3 chimney stacks each with
2 diagonal shafts with offset heads on rectangular bases. 2-storeys
and attic, plinth:S. front has 3 bays of 3-light leaded casements.
Segmental arches to ground floor, 2-light window between centre and RH bays,
modern 6-panelled door under flat hood with brackets between centre and
LH bays. W. elevation timber framed to RH bay and has 4 bays of modern
casement windows, addition to LH linking with The Cottage, Cowdray Close
(q.v.). North front gabled with later extension. E. front timber
framed with restored oak mullioned window to lst floor.
