SS 90 SE BROADCLYST HOLLIS HEAD

A pair of estate cottages. Early C19. Coursed rubble volcanic trap under hipped
thatched roof. 2 axial stacks + one external rear lateral stack. 2 storeys.
Front: 4-window range with recessed extensions to either side under hip, both
formerly with entrances (that to the right converted into a window) under 2-light
window, and a large bake-oven bulge to the left. Central range with 2 and 3-light
casement windows, 8 panes per light, C19; and 2 entrances under rustic timber
porches with slate roofs and split timber sides.
