House, originally 2 cottages. Late C17, heightened and altered in C18. Cob, stone
plinth, rendered under gabled-end thatched roof. 2 end stacks, that to the right
external. 2 storeys with rear lean-to.
Front: 3-window range, upper floor windows just breaking eaves line, one 2-light
timber casement, 6 panes to each light, early C19, and two 3-light timber casements
with 8 leaded panes to each light; four 2-light timber casement windows to ground
floor, 6 panes to each light, late C19.
Rear: one 2-light timber casement window, 12 leaded panes to each light, and
retaining its C18 ring latch; the other two 1 and 2-light windows at ground floor,
with C20 brick lean-to left-hand side.
Interior: Both main rooms have similar interiors : one chamfered beam with step
stops, and fireplace, unchamfered hewn timber lintel, and side oven.
