- a headstone immediately east of
the south aisle of the Church of
St Michael
GV II

Group of 3 chest tombs and a headstone, all commemorating members of the Madge
family. C19. 3 coped chests each with a roll moulding, the moulding floriated at
each end. The southernmost commemorates Sarah Madge, died 1854, and other members of
the Madge family. The northernmost commemorates Mary Madge, died 1855. Inscription
on northernmost chest illegible. The headstone has a shaped head and commemorates
John Madge, died 1835.
