House. Probably C17 or earlier. Solid, roughcast walls, partly of stone, possibly
with some cob. Slated roof. Red brick chimney stack on centre of ridge.
Projecting rendered stack with red brick shaft on wall towards road, off-centre to
left. 2 storeys with old single-storey lean-to to left, and C20 single-storey
extension to right. 6-window front away from road, to west, with doorway in third
bay from right. Fourth bay from right forms a rectangular projection, perhaps for a
staircase, which is level with the stack on ridge. Sparsely-windowed front to road;
abutting the right-hand side of the projecting stack is a rectangular turret,
probably containing a staircase. Windows in both fronts have C19 wood casements
with small panes. Interior not inspected.
