West aspect. Large, early C14 parish church. Decorated Gothic, with Perpendicular Gothic features, and a Victorian restoration. Coursed ironstone rubble with ashlar dressings. West tower of three stages, with plinth and slender, angle buttresses. West doorway with chamfered archway and hoodmould with heavy label stops. Trefoiled light above. Paired lights to bell chamber. Broach spire with two tiers of lucarnes and pinnacles at each angle. North aisle west window is in a Perpendicular Gothic style. (Photo Apr 2008).
